Green Hydrogen Systems to expand production capacity

Green Hydrogen Systems (Denmark based supplier of electrolysers used in the on-site production of hydrogen) has kicked off its next stage of production facilities expansion to 400 MW and acquired factory land and buildings.

The company Board of Directors approved the planned second expansion phase of its current combined manufacturing, R&D, and office facilities in Kolding, Denmark.

The expansion project is expected to be completed by 2023. Once completed, the new facilities will expand the current annual capacity from 75 MW to 400 MW worth of electrolysers. The company also plan to ramp up its electrolysers manufacturing capacity up to 1,000 MW capacity annually in the long term.

Over three years, Green Hydrogen Systems will invest up to DKK 300 million in acquiring the existing facilities and land and building the phase 2 expansion whereof around DKK 105 million will have effect in 2021.
